155 tickets, $1,629 earned from B&B Tour

The 14th annual Bed & Breakfast Holiday Tour again gave a financial boost to the Old Colorado City History Center Dec. 7.
With 155 tickets sold, the event took in $1,629, minus $295 in advertising, plus a $100 donation to defray ad costs, according to Dave Hughes, treasurer of the Old Colorado City Historical Society (OCCHS), which owns and operates the center.
OCCHS board member Bev Disch, who led the organization of this year's tour, said she was pleased with the turnout, which was aided by warmer than normal weather. “It was a beautiful day,” she said.
The tour allows people to visit several elegant area B&Bs, which are decorated for the season.
