Cucuru celebrates 5th year, front patio approval
The Cucuru Gallery Café will celebrate its five-year anniversary Friday and Saturday, Dec. 17-18.
Activities will continue both days from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., owner Guillermo Alvarado said. The timing coincides with the recent decision by City Land Use Review to grant a variance to allowing outdoor seating on the front patio of Cucuru, a restaurant, liquor establishment and art gallery at 2332 W. Colorado Ave. Alvarado said he had requested the approval to allow more flexibility for his business, which has long used the rear patio in warmer weather. The front patio, can seat about 30 people, Alvarado said. Westside Pioneer article |
