During “Puttin’ Food By” day at Rock Ledge Ranch Nov. 13, Kyle Grove (left), Alaina Oltrogge and Joanne Killday team up to make sausage from a hog that had been slaughtered earlier that day. The annual event provided education about the work early pioneers had to do to prepare for winter. The next Rock Ledge event will be Holiday Evenings Dec. 11-12.
