The Rocky Mountain Field Institute (RMFI) will hold its last volunteer workday of the season Saturday, December 4 at the
Garden of the Gods.
The project time range is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work, occurring near the Scotsman Picnic Area, is described as strenuous. Volunteers will be moving rocks and dirt away from the trails to clean up for the winter. A large part of the work will involve moving rock to the gullies: passing buckets of rocks and dirt, bucket brigade style. Advance registration is requested. For more information, call 471-7736.
