Uintah to lose eastbound lane

       The outside eastbound lane at Uintah Street will be closed just west of I-25 for the next several weeks as a drainage-related project gets underway.
       According to Bill Hellwig of the City Street Division, the project will start at Uintah and Cooper streets, where crews will install a concrete “crosspan” down Uintah to carry water down the hill and across Cooper.
       When the work at Cooper is done, crews will move down a block and do the same thing at Walnut, he said.
       Each project will last two to three weeks, he said.
