Bear Creek Dog Park cleanup Oct. 28

El Paso County Parks, in conjunction with Lovers of Off-Leash Parks (LOOP), is holding an event to clean up the Dog Park at Bear Creek Regional Park. Titled
“Stools and Ghouls,” the clean-up day will be Saturday, Oct. 28, from 8:30 to 11 a.m.
The Dog Park is on 21st Street near Rio Grande Street. LOOP is a volunteer group that helps maintain the 20-acre facility. The person who collects the most waste will win a grand prize. Other prizes will also be presented in various categories, including “Dress your Pet” and “Coolest Pet and Owner Costumes.” For more information, call 520-7324 or visit www.elpasoco.com/parks.
