Harvest Day at Rock Ledge Ranch Oct. 2
Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site in Colorado Springs will host its annual Harvest Festival Saturday, October 2, from 10 a.m. to
3 p.m. Admission is free.
The traditional end-of-summer celebration will include live music, wagon rides, gold panning, apple-cider pressing, a silent auction of hand-made folk crafts and other historical activities. Hundreds of ranch-grown pumpkins will be available for sale. Among the featured entertainers will be The Mitguards, specializing in old-time acoustic music. Also new this year will be trick roper “Cowboy” Steve Cassat of Monument. Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site is an 1880s-era working ranch in the Garden of the Gods owned by the City of Colorado Springs.
