Public meeting on Bear Creek Regional Park master plan Sept. 30 El Paso County Parks will host a public meeting on its master plan for Bear Creek Regional Park Tuesday, Sept. 30.The location will be the Bear Creek Nature Center, 245 Bear Creek Road. The time will be 6 to 8 p.m. An initial public meeting on a plan update was held in June. “This second meeting will offer the community insight into the proposed improvements, management actions and priorities,” a press release states. Maps of proposed improvements will be on display at 6 p.m., followed by a staff presentation at 6:30 p.m. There will also be “opportunities for questions and comments,” the release adds. The draft plan will be viewable Sept. 23 on the Planning Division webpage at http://adm.elpasoco.com/CommunityServices/planning/Pages/Bear CreekRegionalParkPlanning. aspx.
