Everest climber at Bear Creek Center Sept. 24

Climber/author Gary Scott will share his mountain-climbing adventures in “Everest Mountaineering and Adventures,” a program
at the Bear Creek Nature Center Friday, Sept. 24 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Scott's multi-media presentation will include slides and stories about his quest to scale Mt. Everest. The cost to attend is $10. Proceeds will benefit educational programs and exhibits at Bear Creek and Fountain Creek Nature Centers. Scott, will introduce his new book, “Summit Strategies: Secrets of Mastering the Everest in Your Life.” Bear Creek Nature Center is located at 245 Bear Creek Road. Call 520-6387 for more information.
