Pack 6 improves school area; plans Sept. 8 meeting

Westside Pioneer photo        According to Cris Johnson, the cubmaster, improvements were made around the school marquee (including weeding, landscape fabric and extra timbers), the school- zone curbs were painted, and trash was removed from the ditch between Westmoor Drive and Water Street.        The incentive for the youngsters was a pool and pizza party afterward, Johnson said.        Pack 6 will hold its first meeting of the school year Wednesday, Sept. 8 at Howbert at 6:30 p.m., including a magic show and parent orientation.
