Westside business owner John Daugherty took this photo of unusual cloud activity over Pikes Peak around 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 27 from the parking lot outside Olde Towne Optical and Gifts on West Colorado Avenue near 30th Street. About 20 minutes later, according to Daugherty, there was a rare tornado touchdown in the forest between Woodland Park and Divide. News reports said several trees were uprooted.
