Artists invited to submit works for Bear Creek Nature Center fundraiser show A deadline of July 20 has been set for local artists to submit works for possible inclusion in the annual art show/sale in support of the Bear Creek and Fountain Creek nature centers.The event will be September 11-12 at the Bear Creek Nature Center, 245 Bear Creek Road. The theme this year is “Nature Works.” All types of media are acceptable for consideration, a press release states. Helping coordinate the show is the volunteer Friends of El Paso County Nature Centers. Three to five entries are requested per artist, in a jpg format, sent to the Art Show Committee at bearcreekartshow2015@gmail.com.
