Rain slows sewer-line replacement project

Recent rains have slowed a sewer-main replacement project at the northeast corner of Cimarron Street/ Highway 24 and South Eighth Street.
According to Dave Grossman of Colorado Springs Utilities, the project still requires about two weeks for completion. The work involves replacing an 18-inch line that had shown signs of corrosion during a routine maintenance job. No impact on daytime traffic is anticipated. Westside Pioneer article |
