Free 'fun run' opportunity Thursdays at Garden of the Gods Visitor Center The Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center has begun offering a 5K fun run every Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.Open to all ages, the free, non-competitive event is called “Gallop in the Garden.” According to a center press release, “we've mapped out five phenomenal routes through Garden of the Gods Park and Rock Ledge Ranch that start and end at the Visitor & Nature Center… This is not a race, just a fun run and a way to enjoy camaraderie and the Great Colorado Outdoors in the number-one park in the U.S.” To participate, sign in at the center's lobby. The facility is at 1805 N. 30th St.
