County child-abuse symposium

A public forum Tuesday, April 15 will spotlight El Paso County efforts to help prevent child abuse and neglect.
Titled “Protecting Our Children: A Community United,” the forum will be at the county's Department of Human Services (DHS) building, 105 N. Spruce St., from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The symposium will include presentations by County Commissioners Sallie Clark, Amy Lathen and Wayne Williams; there will also be a discussion on what the public can do.
