In memoriam: Ginny Wesley, founder of Mountain Moppets
She had operated the store for 22 years before selling the business in 2007. A celebration of life will be held at the Manitou Art Center, 513 Manitou Ave., May 18 from 2 to 5 p.m. Wesley had been fighting cancer for six years. She wrote a book about the experience, published in 2010 under the title, “To Begin Again: A Life of Tragedies and Miracles.” She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her brothers, Thomas P. Gray and Matthew A. Gray, her daughter C. Page Saulsbury and two grandchildren.
