Coronado boys basketball breaks 20-year drought

The Coronado boys basketball team, having won its first league basketball championship in 20 years, has been granted a first-
round bye and will host the second-round game of the 5A Colorado high school playoffs Feb. 28. The game in the Coronado gym is scheduled at 7:45 p.m. against the winner of the Feb. 27 game between Rocky Mountain and Arapahoe. After starting the season 2-2, Coronado finished with a 16-3 record (11-1 in the Metro League).
