Meet a Westsider:
Candice Smith

Profession/Occupation... Student/cashier at La Baguette.

What I like most about the Westside is... it’s very laid back, and for the most part, everyone is friendly.

If I could change anything about the Westside, it would be... I’m not quite sure. I kind of like it just the way it is.

A good movie I’ve seen recently is... “Calendar Girls.”

The worst advice I’ve ever gotten was... I can’t think of anything, so maybe I’ve never gotten any bad advice.

If I could meet someone famous, I’d like to meet... Gwen Stefani (lead singer of No Doubt, one of my favorite bands).

The next time I travel, I’m going to... the Cayman Islands with my wonderful boyfriend for our one-year.

My favorite childhood memory is... I have a lot, but one that sticks out is camping out in my backyard with my brother and my dad scaring us half to death. (We laughed really hard after).

My favorite winter pastime is... Call me crazy, but it’s not skiing! I like to cuddle up in my bed and watch movies, especially when it’s cold outside.

Something good I’ve read is.. “Harry Potter.”

My pet peeve is... people who don’t use their turn signal and people who are rude.

If I won the lottery, I’d... take my family to Hawaii, buy my mom a house, buy my dad a car, pay off both my parents and my debt, give some to local schools and charities, and save the rest.
