Presentation on Harlan-Wolfe House at Old Colorado City History Center Feb. 12 Historian Tim Scanlon will speak on “The Harlan-Wolfe House and the Gold Rush” in a program Friday, Feb. 12 at the Old Colorado City History Center, 1 S. 24th St.Lasting about an hour, the event will begin at 6 p.m. Admission for non-members is $5. Scanlon, the former city historic preservation planner, will tell about the Wolfe and Harlan families, who were early Colorado Springs neighbors along Cheyenne Creek. Their families later donated the Harlan-Wolfe House and remaining property to the City of Colorado Springs. The program is organized by the Old Colorado City Historical Society (OCCHS), a nonprofit volunteer group that owns and operates the History Center. The OCCHS welcomes members.
