Crimes can now be reported online

The Colorado Springs Police Department has added a service to let people report crimes online.
The service is intended for crimes that don't require additional police follow up, a police press release states. “Generally, these reports are those that citizens require to file insurance claims.” The online reporting service can be accessed through the Public Safety/Police Department links on the city website: www.springsgov.com.
