2 photos from Jackson Elementary's 'Garden' musical Jan. 15
Jackson Elementary second-graders performed a
musical in the school gym Jan. 15, titled "How Does Your Garden Grow?" These
photos show two of the choreographed arrangements, one to the song "We Are the
Loveliest Flowers," and the other to the song, "The Garden Hoedown." The school
musical director is Erik Miller. Roughly 70 students participated from the
second-grade classes taught by Angela Gardner, Morgan Kelly and Lanette
Morton. Costume work was created under the lead of art teachers Jackie Robbie
and Katie O'Sullivan. The musical was written by John Higgins and John
Jacobson, a nationally renowned children's music writing team.
